Single storethe single database for data-intensive applications, today announced the launch of SingleStoreDB with IBMdesigned to provide businesses with a one-stop-shop to take advantage of SingleStore’s powerful database technology with IBM.

With the acceleration of cloud and AI adoption, many industry leaders are more data-driven than ever. Instead of juggling complex multi-vendor data environments, customers can now simplify and unify data tiers with SingleStore and IBM. This subscription-based software, which can be deployed on-premises, in private clouds, or in public clouds, is designed to allow customers to scale as their needs change; take advantage of the familiarity of a relational database while being able to handle complex queries for analysis; and process, query, and serve historical and near real-time data using a single, multi-model database. Key customer benefits include reduced database and legacy hardware costs, faster time to insight with a single database, and the ability to quickly run data-intensive reports.

Through this new collaboration, IBM will offer the purchase, license and support of the SingleStore database. Additionally, customers can work with IBM Expert Labs or IBM Consulting for global deployment assistance, which can include advice on individual database technologies and overall data management architectures, including a data fabric.
