Dr Alekh Gour is the Placement Chair – BDA at Goa Institute of Management. Dr Gour obtained his degree in computer science and engineering and his degree in bioinformatics. He obtained a doctorate in the field of bioinformatics from NIT Bhopal. His main research area is “Data analysis techniques in bioinformatics”.

Dr Gour has won several awards and accolades for his work in the data science landscape, including the Young Scientist Award from the M. P Council of Science and Technology, Govt. from Madhya Pradesh, and the most recent “InsideIIM Professor of the Year 2020” at GIM.

Shruthi Arunkumar

Shruthi Arunkumar is a Goa Institute of Management alumnus, who completed her PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) earlier this year. She is currently working as a business analyst in MLEU at Cognizant.

At the event, she will share her journey with the GIM BDA program, share some tips for internships and placements, and how BDA has helped her get the job of her dreams.
